Here is my current model, an HH43 B from Mach2 in scale 1/72. A few shots of the inner scratch built details: seats, main and upper console exhaust and rear doors...
Amazing detail Pierre! One question, did you glue the copper wires of the seats or did you solder the pieces?
Looking forward to see more of your work.
well the pictures are very clear , fantastic....very small/nice Heli!!!. Well I'll keep watching the advances. About the canopy, I didnt know that is posible to do it with a toaster, smart!!.....
Tim has some pics of my Mach2 HU-25 "retriever" to post, while seeing these pics and if you know this kit you will easily imagine the time I spent on it...! but when you love..you don't count
Hello Vitor,
In fact, I ulse almost everything I can find..i.e. most of the time, packing material.. you can re-use almost everything..as christmas approachs (and if you have children..) look at all the toys, they are often wrapped in transparent plastic..the only thing is that you should not use a too thin sheet..
Hope this will help
Cheers
Wow Pierre,
That canopy is very nice. I use the stove plate to heat the plastic. I use 1.75 mm PVC. I model mostly 1/72 myself. When I scratchbuilt my my first Rooivalk and got to the canopy, my wife had to help me press in the "step" in the canopy with a blunt knife while I stretched the hot PVC over the master. It gets hot after a few attempts.
Keep up the great work!!!
Well, I've had the 1/72 CSH-2 Rooivalk in production since 2003. Recently I upgraded the kit to the latest variant with new CHAFF/Flare dispensers, a few antennas and "lumps & bumps. WIll be released soon. Watch this site as a review is pending by one of our members. I just love gunships!
Pierre You are a master, that's landing gears are fabolous!!!!. I read you post about the color, and you have many option will be you choice...just let me tell you that also you have the camo scheme, maybe you can take a look at that. Anyway the work is Fantastic keep in touch.
