This is the 1/48th Monogram AH-1F Cobra built as Tzefa #531 of the Northern Cobra Squadron. I scratch-built RWR housings and sensors were added from shaped resin pour stubs and styrene. The chaff/flare dispensers are from a Pro Modeler F-4E Phantom kit, with scratch-built mounts. Screen mesh was added to the openings in the engine covers. Other details include the tail skid and cable cutter braces from brass rod, and antennas made from stretched sprue.
The finish is a Humbrol mix of three parts Hu110 to one part Hu119. The weathering is a combination of airbrush post-shading, acrylic washes, and pastels. Last but not least, the markings are from the Isradecal 2003 Attack Helicopters set.

Something kinda sad about the way that things have come to be. Desensitized to everything, what became of subtlety?
