1/48 Revell Sikorsky CH-53D Sea Stallion

This is my 1/48 USMC Sikorsky CH-53D Sea Stallion. It is built from the Revell of Germany CH-53 GS/G. It is built basically out of box, except a Meteor Productions cockpit set was used. The main rotor blades were folded, and decals came from the spares box.

Awesome Pete!!!!

Very nice model and good base too. The crew on the ground make think about the size of the Helo...real nice atmosphere around the model. Thank for sharing it.

Yes, the 53's are large beast! I was next to a CH-53E not long ago, and I'm still amazed by their size. Oliver, I don't really remember how much time I put into building it. The model was costructed several years ago. However I don't think there was an unusual amount of time involved. It went toghether pretty straight forward.
