I built this Flettner Fl 282 V6 about 13 years ago out of the Huma Kit. Minor conversions are necessary to convert it into the V6 version. I decreased the thickness of the instrument board, modified the mass balance of the rudder, added a new aerodynamic fuelcap, a new tailskid, a special fixture for small waterbombs and last but not least a modified gear for the rope.
The Flettner 282 V6 is painted with a Avionik Nitrodecklack similar light white grey from JPS colours.
With only few mods the basic kit is regardless one of the best Huma kits.

Excellent : realisation end pictures.
The last piture is very good. My only point is the bird is perhaps too clean, but true is a prototype.

Hi Manuel,
it is not "perhaps" too clean, he is "absolutly" too clean!
But 13 years ago I was not aware of all this amazing weathering technics. As you can see in those days I used only Inks for the panellines. OMG.
The MIAG Mobile Crane (about 4 years old) on the left is painted with the full range of weathering technics.

So nicely detailed filigree
So nicely detailed filigree structures - a great build! I don´t know why but I especially like the rope. I think it´s hard to make it look like hanging there accidentally. What material is used for it?

Ordinary thread with a soul of rubber, fixed with superglue.
