Westland Dragonfly HR.5 MPM

Here is my Westland Dragonfly HR.5 (the licenced Sikorsky S-51) in scale 1/72. My version is the HR Mk3 WG708/960' flying SAR missions from Hal Far (Malta) in 1960. It is an old MPM kit combined with decals from Model Art. This kit was rather tricky to built because the front part of the heli is in clear plastic (like to cockpit glas).

Hello Uwe,

My compliments on the final result with this old MPM kit. It is much more difficult to finish these kind of models than the newest Trumpeter or Hasegawa models. On model competitions the judges are alot of times not aware of this. Meaning the fact that it takes much more craftmanship to complete these models in comparison with the state of the art models. So, job well done.
