I present my Royal Navy Westland Sea King ASaC Mk.7 in scale 1/72. I used the Revell Sea King Mk.41 kit as I didn't have the AEW in my stash. Almost all parts needed for the conversion where scratch built but I also used some parts from the Eduard PE set. The sand filter is from Airwaves and is a great set. The decals are a mix coming from my spares box.

Very nice model, I really appreciate the way you detailled it and the fact that you did it by yourself in scratch. This is a brilliant demonstration that resin and after market products are not always necessary....Congratulations

Congratulations Andreas!
I agree with all above but specially with Pierre. You did ONE with this old fashioned techniques so beautiful and the result is a superb art work you have done with a lot of love and labour. Really I admire a very fine job in any kit but yours by the way you did it deserves a very big article in any of world's modelling magazine that praises for being at least good.
Many many thanks for the inspiration to everyone and for sharing it with us!
All the best,
Luis Alfonso

I LOVE it! Don´t laugh at me but I think the highlight are the seats. The rotorhead is great but the seats are even better. Looks like you have good reference materials.

Andreas..Absolutely gorgeous..Well done..One question...Did you scratch build the deflated radome because "Airwaves" did one some time back but doesn't look as nice as yours????.Regards..Ross.
Thanks for your positive
Thanks for your positive kind words. Good pictures are seen in WWP no.12 and on prime portal. The radome is also scratchbuild and the seats in Helicopters are very important because everyone have a good view on it. I like to build many thinks scratch, because they look often much better than PE parts. Greatings Andreas
material used?
Hi
Can you tell us wich material you used to figure out the detail on the roof (soundproofing or separation curtain..?) also used I think for the deflated radome?
Thanks
Pierre
