Hello Didier

Very nice Sea king in this smart scheme. Which kind of grey did you use for it?

Cheers

Sea King colors

Hi,

thank you all for your comments...

I've used Humbrol enamel colors: grey 167 and red 132.

Sea King

Having seen Didier's Sea King, I decided to post a picture of a model I built for a fancy dress competition last week.

The pilot is my grandson, Euan aged 5. Helicopter is modelled on the ones based at Prestwick which fly over here quite a lot.

I don't know the scale. The manufacturer is several cardboard boxes! :-)

Excellent

That is an excellent model.  I served back seat in the sea king and think that is very faithful.  In fact my log book shows me in this a/c.. I would love to know how you made some of the details from scratch, ie the door opening and a/c contents.  I am about to start constructing a few kits in 1/72 and 1/48 and have so far only ever made kits out of the box so will be contacting some modellers on here for tips and pics... all help greatly received.  My e-mail is alstare1974 [at] gmail [dot] com

Regards

Nick

Forgot to say I would also

Forgot to say I would also be interested in purchasing the model should you choose to lose it from your collection.
