Mi-2 T Hoplite(HobbyBoss - Nr. 87241)Facts:
Review:Aeroteam/ Airex, Intech/ Smer/ Mastercraft/ Sky High and Amodel all released Mi-2 kits before. But all of them have prominent issues with the nose and windshield section. Hobbyboss just released their new kit. Here a summary what tho expect when opening the box.
but as in every kit, there are some less good points to mention:
(German DHS-profiles were used for comparison) Most of the negative points can easily avoided by stealing part from the earlier kits mentioned above. The decal sheet provides markings for a camouflaged Polish Army version, a russian and an ukrainian aircraft, each in overall olive drab with grey-blue undersurfaces. Note from Felix: With some luck you'll find the Mastercraft boxing of the Intech kit very cheap (around 5 Euros). It's worth to have a look at the Mastercraft boxing as they provide a lot more interesting schemes like e.g. German, Polish, Slovenian and Czech Police, Mexican and Polish Navy (SAR) as well as Hungarian and German (SAR) options. There is also an announced variation, a Mi-2 URN with the number 87243 - This one will contain weapons and decals for GDR and Germany Police flying squads. More infos:Reviewed by hubifreak - 27.
