HobbyBoss announces on their website another version of the short cabin Huey. After the Bravo and Charlie model it is the UH-1F Huey. The UH-1F was introduced to the USAF inventory in 1964.
The kit in scale 1/72 has productnumber 87230. The decalsheet includes markings for two US Air Force Hueys.
Based on the pictures on their website I can't see if they took into account the fact that the F-version has the longer tailboom of the UH-1D or not.

Looks good
Both those HobbyBoss helis look pretty good. Hopefully the F WILL come with a mini gun as in the pics, so you can make a Green Hornet bird. Looks like you'll have to scratch the mounts and ammo belts though. Shame the price is almost double the Italeri kits (at least the last 2 Hueys were so I'm presuming these will be as well)

One Mean-looking rocket/gun pod on this one ;)
Looking at the CAD pics on the weblink, I noticed the meanest-looking weapon system I've ever seen on a Huey: a six-shot rocket pod with a 30cal minigun integrated into the pod!! WOW. Hobby Boss is sure doing a great job copying Italeri and Fujimi's old kits ~~.
HobbyBoss Boxarts
HobbyBoss added boxart and decal images of their UH-1F, Cobra's and Hound kits. I updated these articles here on scale rotors and adjusted the articles where needed. Cheers Tim
