This resin conversion set from the South-African company Scaleworx enables you to convert the 1/72nd scale HobbyBoss Mil-24 Hind into the Mi-35 Super Hind MK3 from ATE. It contains gray coloured resin parts, decals and an instruction sheet.
The resin parts consist of: new nose, under fuselage plug, WSO’s site, Vekor 20mm gun and chain ammo belts, Target Acquisition turret, chaff/flare dispenser, Doppler altimeter housing, 8x Ingwe missiles (laser guided anti-tank guided missile), 4x weapons pylons.
The ALPS printed decal sheet contains markings and serial numbers for the ATE Demonstrator and for one Algerian Super Hind. The ALPS printed decals are already varnished.
Photo reference is strictly limited at present but once our webmaster has loaded the pic’s they will be available on ipmssa.org.za in the gallery.
Note: Previously Scaleworx was known under the name "Spinner Models"
Below you can find some in progress pictures from my 1/72nd HobbyBoss Mil-24 Hind converted to the Mi-35 Super Hind MK3. A full article will be posted soon here on scale-rotors.

Do you think, will it be possible to use this set on Hasegawa Mi-24? Thanks
Mi-35 Conversion available
Just received a notification that this set is now available.
Hasegawa Mi-24
It probably will with a bit of modifying of the Mi-35 chin fairing. I'm also busy building the same conversion. That part will be your only obstacle, because it has a snug fit with 4 locating pins to fit the Hobbyboss kit.

Hi guys, I havent visited in a long while. I appreciate the comments and questions. I am planning a 1/48 conversion for the Monogram kit, and 1/35 is also going to happen for the Trumpeter kit. Some news is that the 1/72 conversion now comes with a third decal option for the other demonstrator, ZU-SOV.
Hi Blade:
It looks wonderful. It was designed for Esci or Hobbybos kits, but it can fit other kits in this scale?
As I understand, this is sold only by a store in Holland, Have you looked for a distribuitor in this side of the pond?
Cheers and thanks a lot for bring alternatives to modelling,
Luis Alfonso
Mi-35 Superhind mk.3
Hi PONCHO,
It was made for the HobbyBoss kit, but like anything else, it could fit other kits with a bit of work. The Luchtvaart Aviation Megastore is the worldwide distributor for ScaleWorx, and therefore you have to order from them.
Cheers
Hi Blade:
Thanks a lot. Its a nice machine to MUST have a place in a complete fighter helicopter collection.
