1/48 Werner's Wings 48-02 AH-1F Upgrade set

Couldn't afford the whole resin kit but wanted to do some of the things to it that need to be done to bring your Monogram kit up to date, well here is the answer, the Werner's Wings AH-1F Upgrade set.

What do you get? First off a new Exhaust system with more detail than the kit offering and best of all no filling.  An M-130 Chaff Dispenser is included, courtesy of the Cobra Company. You also get the skid mounted IR light, APR-39 antennas, SINCGARS antenna for the tailboom, and a blanking plate for the ALQ-144 so you don't have to play with the disco light.

AH-1F Decals

As an update, the decals are coming along nicely.You will be very, very happy. It looks like we will be able to put 12, yes TWELVE, aircraft on the sheet.  All very colorful and very distinctive. Of course I am selfish so there are at least four aircraft that I flew on it. As we get them off to the printers I will release some photos of the aircraft.
